So as you may know our UCA football team is a force to be reckoned with. We are currently ranked 8th in our conference, with many forecasted wins for the season. This previous week we won on the road against Northwestern State with a 34-0 shutout. The home game this week is against the number 20 ranked Stephen F. Austin University, a team that has been putting up some impressive numbers these last few weeks. Then after that is homecoming week, with plans for a float competition, a student bonfire, obviously the homecoming queen coronation, as well as the homecoming tailgate and football game. All the more reasons to be a student of the ever so awesome University of Central Arkansas.
One intriguing tradition I have personally been a part of for the previous two years is TagUCA, a tradition that allows for students to cover the sidewalks of UCA in chalk, in a design reflecting the homecoming theme. This year I will be helping with two pieces of art, one for my fraternity and the other for the yearbook, and I am equally excited about both. It's always a cool thing to be a part of, and I just enjoy showing them off to people, one of my many talents that I've learned while being here at UCA.
And I'll leave you with an inspirational quote:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world"
